with your host, Titus McGuire
Greetings my lovely bedlamites,
Alas, 'Sanctuary of Darkness' has been released, and with it I have found myself quite busy. I have been updating the website, as well as working on new features to add on to it to make it more interesting. Also, I have been working on the companion CD to the book, hoping to get that finished sometime in the near future, as well as the sequel to the book, 'Darker Shade of Heaven'. Yes, right now it seems that I am quite busy, though I still try to find time for leisurely activities. I have been watching a lot of the old soap opera 'Dark Shadows'. I use to watch them when I was younger, and I admit now that they are part of my inpsiration for the volumes I write now. They were like the foundation to my future as a vampire novelist. Though many things would later influence me, I think 'Dark Shadows' was the first real inspiration I had along this path. I was yong when I first saw them, like 3 or 4. they were reruns, don't get me wrong, I didn't see them when they origianlly aired in the late 60's. Aside from that, I have been reading the latest Harlequin Historical by Deborah Simmons 'The Dark Viscount'. I absolutely love Ms. Simmons works, having read several of her previous novels, and had been anticipating this one for months now. She is an excellent author, to those of you who like historical romance anyways, and a person I'd definately recommend checking out. Anyways, I just thought I'd write short blog today and let you know a little on what's going on with me. Take care.
Bedlam - A lunatic asylum. (after Bedlam, an old London hospital for the insane)
Bedlamite - An occupant of such an asylum.
So here it is, my first blog on this website. To those of you interested in reading my miscellaneous and zany (sometimes even informative) thoughts, this will be the place where I will be posting all those things I want to say, but can find no place else to say them. These will be the words that are straight from my mind that are not part of a story (or, perhaps sometimes will be part of a story). So, if you can't get enough Titus McGuire, look no further for more fun, creative, and insane ramblings from yours truly.
